| About Shotblasting |
| An abrasive material (chilled iron, steel shot, sand etc.) is "fired" at high pressure (90 PSI) onto the item to be cleaned. All contamination such as rust and paint is removed preparing the surface for the next process.
Shotblasting also slightly roughens the surface ensuring a good result when the paint or powder is appled.
Various grades of "shot" are used dependent on the type of material being cleaned and the finish required. No need to worry if you don't know which you need - we are experts in this field.
