During this process a very fine polyester powder is applied to the previously cleaned item using a high-voltage electrostatic charge. The charged powder is attracted to the item and, once powdered, it is placed into an oven and heated to 180°C. This melts the powder which is cured for ten minutes then allowed to cool. Once cooled it produces a smooth, hard-wearing finish, which is far more durable than conventional wet paints. We have a wide range of colours and finishes in stock and if required specific colours can often be matched by the manufacturers. We also stock American special effects powders and metallics, please contact us for more information on these.
